CCS has been selected to implement a CCTV Surveillance and intercom upgrade solution for one of The Irvine Company’s Class-A downtown San Diego properties. The solution includes new high-resolution analog cameras, Pelco recording technology, and VideoIQ encoding and analytics. “The solution,” says Garot, “leverages much of the customer’s existing infrastructure while also providing them with substantial upgrades in image quality and processing capability.”
The solution is part of a larger lobby upgrade with new desk console and guard interface.

Dexcom Inc. a San Diego based leader in continuous glucose sensing technologies, has selected CCS to install a Pelco IP video surveillance system using the SARIX camera technology.
“We are excited to help a cutting edge company improve their security with state-of-the-art video technology,” says Steve Garot with CCS. “The Pelco solution allowed us to leverage Dexcom’s existing video recording infrastructure. This was critical because it means they can continue to use a single interface, rather than introduce a new and totally different platform. The Megapixel SARIX cameras are providing fantastic crisp images in areas that were extremely important to the customer. This solution also allows Dexcom management to migrate to a completely IP solution throughout their facility, should they determine that the improved images are important to their overall security plan.”

HG Fenton Company is working with CCS to upgrade secuirty at eight of their San Diego County properties.
The upgrades typically include card access for the business offices, along with intrusion alarm detection systems and comprehensive CCTV surveillance.
CCS has earned continued business with HG Fenton due to professional and reliable installations in combination with after-the-sale service and support. “We recognized years ago,” says Baker, “that our customers expect after-the-sale service that is consistent with our pre-sale attention to detail. I believe the security industry is plagued with companies that do not provide quality service after the sale. In fact, many of the leading low-cost providers have geunuinely terrible service. That’s a great opportunity for CCS. We have worked hard for over a decade to develop industry-leading in-house technial expertise and an accountable field service staff. While we may not be perfect every day, we strive to meet and exceed our customer’s needs.
That’s not always easy, but it is always good business.”

Thank you all for being flexible with your installer’s time schedule and our analog installation delay we had. The techs were all very professional and understanding of our needs.
Thank you, Charlie for answering the phone whenever I called for assistance.
Ken, it’s always a pleasure working with you and I look forward to using CCS in the future for our security access needs. I am already looking into two new buildings for the coming months.
Thanks again.

“CCS could write the book on customer service and customer satisfaction. Charlie has a phenomenal staff of experts in the field and it has been a pleasure working with his staff in Sales, installation, and technical support. We have pushed California Commercial Security hard with difficult deadlines and Charlie and his dedicated team has pulled through for us every time. Results are outstanding and Charlie is always accessible and accommodating. I would (and have) recommended CCS to others and would not go anywhere else for Security systems.”

Hey Ken,
Just want to say thanks again for calling me back today and explaining what was discovered. Also, for listening to the problem we had, recognizing it had happened before, and working with the monitoring center to help them put in place procedures that should help prevent the problem in the future.
All too often people are quick to complain when service is bad, but I think it’s important to recognize when service is great, and you’ve provided us that today.
Thanks and happy new year!

CCS has been selected to provide over one-hundred new card readers and implement a major upgrade for Casa de las Campanas’ CCTV system to better secure their top-tier retirement community.

Casa de las Campanas
Casa de las Campanas is a San Diego retirement community especially designed for active, involved people who are determined to continue living life to the fullest. Casa is the only proven Rancho Bernardo (San Diego) community to offer the combination of unlimited social and recreational senior living opportunities, high-quality professional services, abundant amenities and peace of mind which only on-site health care can provide.
CCS proposed a Kantech card access solution to help the community secure its many perimeter doors as well as manage the large volume of visitors and contractors who are on-site each day. Management recognized that their current ”brass key” system did not offer the level of control or security that their community required, and a card access system was the right solution. CCS will integrate the Kantech system with the customer’s internal systems and visitor management system.

Casa de Las Campanas: Entrance
CCS will upgrade the customer’s existing CCTV system using American Dynamics video processing equipment, which offers seemless integration with the Kantech card access system. The upgrade will provide improved video coverage and video management, as well as the ability to add and evolve their camera system around future needs.
Like many of our projects, CCS distinguished itself not only through a professionally managed sales, consultation and proposal process, but also will supply and install all of the electronic locking hardware. The entire job will be completed without hiring any sub-contractors.

CCS has implemented an inegrated intrusion alarm video surveillance solution for one of our San Diego customers to help prevent future break-ins.
What’s Better than an Alarm System?
A customer in the Life Sciences industry is building a new facility and experienced a break-in while under construction. They did not have any security at the time, so CCS was contracted to install an intrusion alarm system that used cellular communications while the site was under construction. After the alarm installation this customer was broken into a second time, and although the DSC intrusion alarm worked correctly, the customer was concerned that their property was a “target” and would continue to experience break-ins. Looking for a more pro-ative security deterrent, CCS proposed a camera system utilizing VideoIQ’s state of the art video analytics in combination with video monitoring by ViewpointCRM.
A Solution That Works….Pro-actively!
Our solution includes five VideoIQ encoders with built-in video analytics programmed to trigger an alarm condition when specific scheduled rules are violated. When a rule is violated, Viewpoint is alerted and an operator immediately connects to the camera to “see” what is happening. Using on-site speakers installed by CCS, the Viewpoint operator is able to “Talk-down” to the intruder to alert them that they are trespassing and the Police will be dispatched with their description. The operator is able to watch the scene live and communicate the situation to the police or the customer. Additionally, the “video transaction” is recorded by Viewpoint and emailed to our customer for review the following day.
This pro-active solution is an excellent example of how the right design with the right technology can cost-effectively solve security challenges that were almost impossible to address just a few short years ago.
